Maybelline New York are set to launch some new fashion forward colours and products early in the new year. They will have eight new products to jazz up your make up kit this summer. A strong focus on fun, fashion and colour mix with their staple philosophy of fresh faced, easy beauty. Adding to their ‘Volum’ Express’ Range comes “One By One”. A bristle laden (300 bristles to our 100 eyelashes) ergonomic brush delivers a mascara to volumise each, individual lash. It’s very lightweight and easy wear, even for my sensitive eyes.
They have also revamped their iconic ‘Great Lash’ mascara with a LOL, but this LOL is about “Lots Of Lashes” not laughs. It also has a cute heart shaped brush, especially designed to be easy and unintimidating. To complement your “look-at-me-lashes” Maybelline are also releasing their ‘Master Precise Liquid Liner’, which lives up to it’s name. An extremely fine, soft brush tip means you have amazing control over an often challenging make-up medium.
The Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner gives exactly that-lasting drama! A brush and pottle means ease of application and is so lightweight on you can forget it’s even there! It lasts through water and wear very well. Gel liner is the hot thing in eyeliners right now, great for a clean, retro cat eye look.
Lips are ready to be treated too with new lipstick collections Colour Sensations “The Shine” and “Nudes”. The Shine collections offer lots of soft colours with insane amounts reflective, illuminated shininess. The Nudes give you a nice range to give you a fashionable muted lip when you are going for dramatic eyes. They are so light, smooth and not sticky that they feel more like lip glosses but with a lipstick look. Use with the new shades of SuperStay Lip Liner, or use the liner on it’s own for long wear; available in seven shades.
And for your nails, there are two new colours in the Colorama Bittersweets Collection. “Tart” is a shimmery, plummy purple and “Fruit Juice” is a bright red with a high gloss.
