Tickets to Wellington’s highly anticipated Fashion Week are on sale from 12pm today. Consumers now have the opportunity to guarantee their spot at what is picked to become Wellington’s biggest fashion event of the year.
The event has now officially been confirmed to run from the 18th- 22nd of April, out of respect for Anzac preparation and commemorations around the region.
Tickets are now available for the Wellington Fashion Week Group Shows and the inaugural Young Designer Awards. Ticket holders receive full access to the fashion expos and events, as outlined on the official Wellington Fashion Week 2012 calendar.
This announcement comes as four new designers have confirmed their involvement in the five day event – Taylor Boutique, Nicola Screen for Goodness, Kelsey Genna, and philippa&alice have all signed on, joining Ashley Fogel and Hermione Flynn for a Wellington fashion first.
Chris Hales, owner of Goodness, who has recently joined forces with designer Nicola Screen, outlines that the event is paramount to the Wellington Fashion industry.
“It’s just so important for us to be involved. This is important to the Wellington fashion industry as a whole”.
The timing of the event will enable designers to showcase their latest collections, which coincides well with prominent designer Ashley Fogel.
“The timing of Wellington Fashion Week is in line with our new summer collection. We have some very interesting developments and it is the opportune time to share them with the public”.
