Kate of Arcadia’s collection for summer 12/13 has the rather cryptic title – “Verse II:Chapter I /Serious Coo”. When I Googled “Serious Coo” the results I got were - how to cook chicken fajitas, a youtube clip of a baby and an article on guns. Anyways, the collection is awesome and that’s the main thing. Katie’s inspiration for a collection based on a colour palette of earthy tones was a recent trip to London’s amazing Natural History Museum. The designer also introduces an extension to her neckwear collection – statement pieces crafted from leather, wooden skulls and oversized crystals on chains.
